I love hearing all about my friends’ relationships. I really do. But it just tears me apart inside that I can’t overcome what’s done and in the past and just open up. Gosh, I’m frantically typing out all these smileys while my eyes are spilling over.

Just got back from 7 hour shift at XXI. I’ve found my calling :) Grabbing a hasty dinner before heading out to Koerner to slave away another 3 hours, after a hasty Rice Crispy before work and a hasty Thai wrap for lunch. I hate rushed, inadequate meals. I like to savour each bite, letting each individual flavour dance across my tastebuds before travelling down to their eventual demise....

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748704111504576059713528698754.html Bullshit. I had the most unorthodox Chinese mother ever and I turned out all right…(humour me please)

Midnight transit in Van. Phantasmagoric soap operas. “I had a mango smoothie. Luxurious.” - Curly-haired Adonais on the 99 Girls in pastel trenches, 3-inch skirts and 5-inch heels. Boys with wandering eyes and hands. A boy tossed out his stomach’s contents on the Canada Line back. I wanted so much to go up to him and ask if he’s doing okay. Instead, I closed my eyes,...
